In this workshop, you will learn how to create your own custom leather card holder, using traditional techniques and tools. The leather we use is top grain vegetable-tanned cowhide, which is a very high-quality and tough leather. Don’t worry if you are a complete beginner – our experienced instructors will guide you through each step with patience and encouragement. You will feel a sense of accomplishment as you watch your unique creation come to life before your eyes. Throughout this class, you will work with high-quality materials and learn valuable skills that you can continue to hone after this session is over. By the end of this workshop, you will have a new appreciation for the art of leather crafting and a handmade project to be proud to show off to friends and family. What you'll get Learn how to make leather goods, experience the advantages and disadvantages of different leathers, design and make your own leather card holder, and create packaging bags and gift bags.
