Wax Casting - Texture

150 British pounds
Spare Street

Service Description

The wax patterns produced are used for investment casting, commonly known as the lost wax casting process. It is one of the primary methods used in jewellery production. The lost wax casting process allows for the production of intricate and detailed jewellery designs with high accuracy and precision. It is a versatile technique that can be used to create a wide range of jewellery pieces, from delicate filigree work to larger and more complex designs. Process: Get to know different types of wax and their specialties. Create mould using found object or body texture and cast it into wax. Redesign the model and modify it to be wearable. Participants will be asked to leave their pieces after the workshop. Our staff will weigh the wax works and send them to be cast into recycled sterling silver and send back to you in 10 working days! The cost for silver is not excluded (For instance, a 3mm width ring costs around £15). Duration: 3 hours Maximum participants: 4
